Why JBW Photography?

My why and motivation for starting JBW Photography is to help people tell their stories. I love learning about people. I think each of us has a unique story to tell about ourselves and our families. My goal is to partner with you to create images that bring out the best in people and that can proudly be passed down generations.

I am a Miami, Florida based photographer servicing South Florida during weekends. I partner with select individuals, couples, families, and corporations to deliver the following photography services:

Why JBW Photography? I tailor my photography style to tell your story. My approach starts with learning about you to uncover what style and mood fits best. From light, to warm, to vivid, to dark, or dramatic, I can design a photography session that suits your needs. Beginning with the first interaction to delivering the final product, I strive to make photography fun and stress free! My diverse professional and personal background makes me uniquely qualified to find solutions for people of broad backgrounds.

From a family photography standpoint, I can relate to families and children of all ages and backgrounds. I was raised in a large family with a diverse cultural upbringing and grew up around children my whole life. I am a proud husband and father. Knowing how stressful photography can be to some, I work throughout the entire shoot to build a rapport with each person and use techniques to naturally capture candid moments.

From a professional headshot standpoint, I can relate to companies of different products and services. The bulk of my professional experience outside of photography has been in sales and account management in elevators and building infrastructure. Throughout my career I have partnered with businesses in a variety of fields from corporate offices to residences, hotels, healthcare, and large public institutions. My educational background includes a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
